Making Memories....

On Saturday we decided to bring the kiddos up to the mountain so they could snowboard.. The three oldest had their passes from the school ski program so we wanted to let them use those before the slopes close for the year.  So we left the house with the floors needing to be washed, but I decided the kids aren't going to remember having clean floors, but they will remember hitting the slopes. So you tell me what is more important?
Danielle had spent the night on Friday and since she had a pass too we dragged her along.. For some reason I don't think she was protesting! LOL The above pic I took when I went outside to take pics of the kiddos..

  2. I tried to teach my child with books;
    He gave me only puzzled looks.
    I tried to teach my child with words;
    They passed him by often unheard.
    Despairingly, I turned aside;
    “How shall I teach this child,” I cried?
    Into my hand he put the key,
    “Come,” he said, “Play with me.”

  8. Love the picture of them all passed out in the van - that's when you know that it's truly been a good day! After our day of running amok yesterday, today is my cleaning day - but that might wait a while because it is absolutely beautiful outside!!
